Email Entry Field Help

Been banging my head against the wall on this one, as is usually the case with simple tasks. Bottom line is that I have an ActiveAutoTextEditField on my screen for input of an email address. When the user presses space, I want them to get the @ and when they press space again I want them to get a period. Basically normal way of working for an email field in a BlackBerry app. How do you do this? I can't seem to find any documentation in the API for this specifically related. Is this accomplished with a filter?

Thanks!

Re: Email Entry Field Help

You can get an idea of what i tried here

emailField = new ActiveAutoTextEditField("Recipient Address: ", "", 30, ActiveAutoTextEditField.AUTOCAP_OFF); //TextFilter filter = TextFilter.get(TextFilter.EMAIL); TextFilter filter = EmailAddressTextFilter.get(TextFilter.EMAIL); //TextFilter filter = EmailAddressTextFilter(); emailField.setFilter(filter);

Syntax doesn't look or seem right.
