Executing action while AddressBook Edit screen pops

Hi!

 

I would need to execute some code while a user is in the process of editing a contact. For example, when a user selects the contact he wants to edit and he clicks the Edit Menu Item, at that precise moment, I would like to execute some code to verify if the contact data is the same that data in some backend application on our servers.  Is it possible to do it? If it is, what are the mechanism to do so? If not, how would you address that kind of requirement?

No, this is not currently possible.  However, you could add an ApplicationMenuItem to the View or Edit screen of the Contacts application that a user could select to run your code.
