Hi All,
In my Blackberry application, I need to find the technology used by the incoming call.
Can anybody provide the input to how to find the technology/protocol used by the incoming call?
Your inputs are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Simon,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Actually, my application needs to run in background. The background app needs to get the information related to the incoming call and save in the internal database.
Information required from the incoming call is the incoming call number, call time, and the protocol used by the incoming call like, either incoming call comes from SIP or skype or Google talk, etc.
Can I get these information?
Thanks once again.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for the reply.
From the above two links provided by you, how I can retrive the information regarding the technology/protocol used?
The incoming call may be from skype, SIP or from Google Talk. How I can find this information?
Also, how I can find the mobile country code and mobile network code of the SIM?
Thanks for your help once again.

I'd be very surprised if you could determine what "technology" the call is originating from. I don't think (although I'm not positive) that incoming phone calls contain this type of meta-data.
