Re: Generate .ALX file using command line

AFAIK, alx can't be generated using command line. This is required to load application through Desktop Manager software. But experts can correct me.

If you are trying to load application though command line,  you can use following to load application by connecting device to desktop.

JavaLoader -usb load <app_file_name.cod>

 Thanks,

Sandeep

Alx file is necessary if you want to see your application in Options - Advanced Options - Applications.

If you have installed your application via javaloader -usb load myapp.cod command it won't be displayed in applications list and to uninstall it you will need to use javaloader again. If application is listed in that list - you can setup permissions or uninstall it with ease.

To make alx file from ant-script you can use BB Ant Tools.
