Hi,

I would like to get the caller's number when a new call incoming but before the device begin ringing. Is this possible to get? Anybody can help me?

Re: Get caller number before ringing

callIncoming is triggered before the device starts ringing. you can use Phone.getActiveCall... to get the number

Re: Get caller number before ringing

It's not true. As you can trace notifications, ringer notifications begins before PhoneCallListener execute method CallIncoming.

good to know. the ringing starts after the listener is notified though, which was my observation.

Re: Get caller number before ringing

Unfortunately, no... Ringer notifications begins before CallIncoming. This is easy to test in simulator/phone. Maybe in v.4.x it works, but not in 5.0 or later.
