OK, I found a link:
https://developer.blackberry.com/java/download/ecl
which tells me to use eclipse to download the componentpack files I want for different blackberry OS's.
Fine
I tried that, and found OS 4,.5, 5, 6 and 7.1
Great, told it to install the software.
Net went down!
I also found an other message here from jcnielsen (se below) and when I clicked his link, firefox started to download the jar file.
Also great
especially since every time my net went down, I could pause the firfox download, and restart it when I got net again. Since the file is over 200 MB and took hours to download (at, when I was lucky, 50KB a second).,
I old elipse to get all 4 of the OS files available. but it times out (the files seem to be over 175 MB).
I cannot use a download manager.
I cannot find the files and trick the system into just giving them to me (although that worked from the link in the message below).
And I don't know who I have to ???$%^& to get blackberry to make this maybe a little more user friedly? Maybe they could allow for those of us who do not have really big reliable internnet pipes?
Eclipse says:
Installing Software: Fetching net.rim.ejde.componentpack4.5.0_4.5.30.jar (MB of 176.79MB) from http://downloads.blackberry.com/upr/developers/Win
but I cannot just go there and get the file myself - you know, maybe install it on more than one computer?
Maybe actually GET the files?
Wow my post was changed because of invalid HTML! Maybe from thier other post I coiped?

Might have fixed it now using this post:
The jar is here: http://downloads.blackberry.com/upr/developers/jav
