GridFieldManager in JDE 4.6

Hi i want to use the Grid look for screen to display data like.................

 

 

Label 1 | Label 2 | Label 3
Label 4 | Label 5 | Label 6
Label 7 | Label 8 | Label 9
Label10 | Label11 | Label12
Label13 | Label14 | Label15

 

the problem is i am using JDE 4.6 so can i use GridFieldManager in JDE 4.6...But when i create an instance of  as below

GridFieldManager gfm = new GridFieldManager();

 

 

After crearting the above instance and compiling it i am getting an error saying

Error
"cannot find symbol
symbol  : class GridFieldManager"

 

kindly help in this regards.

i have imported the following also

 

import net.rim.device.api.ui.container.*;
import net.rim.device.api.ui.component.*;
import net.rim.device.api.ui.*;

 

 

 

but it doesnt work

There is no GridFieldManager in 4.6,  It arrives with 5.0.

You can also use TableLayoutManager, which is provided in the KB article.  Search the forums for references to that and also the associated, very useful blog that has some samples of uses of it.
