HTML and JavaScript Files on ALX?

Hi! I have this small project that has an HTML file and a couple of external JavaScript files and I'm just wondering, since blackberry can read HTML and JS is it possible to import these files into a project and compile it into a file (ALX, JAR) file? The reason why I want to do this is because I wanted it to be available offline for users.

Thanks in advance.

Re: HTML and JavaScript Files on ALX?

There are a couple of options you could use.  You could store the HTML content on the micro SD card and invoke the BlackBerry Browser with a URL that points to that location (i.e. file://SDCard/yourDir/yourFile.html).

You can also invke the BlackBerry Browser and supply raw HTML, however this would require the JavaScript to embeded in the HTML file since links to external references would not be valid if the BlackBerry is offline.

How To - Invoke the browser with raw HTML
