HTTP connection parameters leave trailing semi colon in url

I am using a direct tcp connection to access a web service. The web service uses parameters encoded in the url in the standard http://foo.com?w=x&y=z. My problem is that when I include the deviceside and other connection parameters, the last parameter to the web service ends up with a semicolon in it. For example, if I say Connector.open("http://foo.com?w=x&y=z;deviceside=true;"); The value of y sent to the web service is "z;". This happens in both the 8310 simulator and my T-Mobile 8320. Is there a way to prevent this?

Re: HTTP connection parameters leave trailing semi colon in url

I suggest you remove the last ";" in your URL.  The ";" are separators and are not needed as terminators.

Re: HTTP connection parameters leave trailing semi colon in url

Thanks Peter. That did the trick. I thought I got the extra semi colon from an example somewhere in the blackberry docs.
