Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows each handset resolution off hand? Mostly the width is important to me, but both height and width would be pretty excellent.
Thanks,

Try with:
Display.getWidth(); // for width Display.getHeight();//for height

They are height * width.

I choose to see it this way:
RIM's old standard resolution was 320x240.
RIM's new standard resolution is 480x360 (same ratio as old standard resolution, 50% more pixels in each axis).
The Storm and Pearl Flip are (new and old, respectively) standard resolution "sideways".
The Bold and Pearl have non-standard resolutions.
In details (resolutions are width x height):
8100 series (Pearl) : 240x260
8200 series (Pearl Flip) : 240x320
8300 series (Curve), 8700 series and 8800 series : 320x240
8900 Curve (aka Javelin): 480x360
9000 (Bold): 480x320
9500 series (Strom) : 360x480 (480x360 when held sideways)
The upcoming BlackBerry Tour is also 480x360.
Cheers, Barak.

HI!
I´m very new in BlackBerry development and I´m just writing a simple application. I´m not sure how to set the screen resolution of my application. My app fits to the resolution of BlackBerry 8300 series And BB-Bold. I want to fit it for BB Storm. If I start my app. on Storm in Sideway Mode, it automatically jumps to normal mode (not Sideway). How can I force Storm to show my app also in Sidewaymode? Do I have to set this special Sideway resolution for Storm? And how? Please provide any Code if possible!
Thanks a lot!
