My app need update app icon depend on device screen. I add an entry point and do similar a example in blackberry document and it run OK. Only when I build release and as soon as complete installation my app by BB Desktop Manager (or direct from device by .jad file), it catch exception : not entry point index but still run OK. After restart, it alway run OK. I use : HomeScreen.updateIcon(_iconAppNormal, 1) to update my app icon. I think as soon as complete install, it run my main app (because it is startup and system module) but not recognize my gui entry point. I also try HomeScreen.updateIcon(_iconAppNormal) but still catch the same exception. Help me ! Thanks very much !

change the number 1 to a 0
index 1 is the alternate entry point and I'll bet marked it as a system module so it has no icon
where as index 0 is the main entry point that has an icon

Ok, sorry, I misread the question and thought you were saying it was not working. I now understand what you are saying.
This is a known issue. I think it has to do with the fact that the auto start entry point runs immediately after installation but runs before entry point indexes are registered and established with the device. This is speculation on my part, but I know that what are experiencing is normal and expected.
