How do I start programming for a blackberry using netbeans on my macbook

hey guys i was wondering if it is possible to program using netbeans(java) to start programming for my blackberry curve 8900, if it is please tell me how to do so

I'll warn you that last I checked (about a year ago) Mac was not a supported development platform. I've managed to make some of the important tools work (the compiler, the signatur tool, the preverifier) but have not been able to run the emulator. There's a post on running the emulator on Linux that I tried to port to Mac but there were problems. USB support will not be there either. Your best bet is either run all code on device (which requires an OTA server running locally with a publically accessible IP) or use Parallels.
