Yes, But Qik is not directly writing to the memory. Instead, it is writing to several files and upload it. It is an alternative. But this is not a solution what I like.
Does anyone have an example of doing 'near realtime' video streaming by writing files and then uploading them?

An earlier post said something to the effect "I believe that we cannot read the video file while it is being written."
Do we know for sure that a separate thread cannot read the video file at the same time the file is being written?

There is once only solution. I was the first developer to make a real streaming live video using BlackBerry for Next2Friends.com. You must parse the rim file create during video recorder
Can you please give us a hint how to do that?
