How to avoid BlackBerry's restart tax?

Here is my dev cycle.

1.  Develop

2.  Test in Emulator

3.  Install & Test in Device.

4.  Rinse & Repeat

When I go to delete the app on the BlackBerry, it's always in Bold, because it's been used. Thus it requires a restart of the device (good 4-5 minutes).

Is there a way to remove the app from memory (on Close or something), so that it would not be in Bold and I wouldn't have to restart the BlackBerry?

Re: How to avoid BlackBerry's restart tax?

you only need to restart if (part of) the application is in use. i add autostart-parts in a later phase mostly to avoid the constant restarting.

that would often not being the problem , when booting time would not always end up in about 5-8 min waiting time where you can drink up to two coffees - including making them ;-)
