How to change the name of my App

Hi,

Basically I started my App by calling it HelloWorld. Using eclipse.

But since, Ive obviously changed the name of it, and editted blackberry_app_descriptor.xml to change the title.

What I dont get is why when I sign it, it refers to it as HelloWorld. And when it requires permission to run, it states HelloWorld is requesting permission. And the threads are named HelloWorld!!!

The Deliverables folder is full of HelloWorld files. And Ive renamed these but they rename back, So i asume this is the build of my code before it is transported across. It shouldnt be Helloworld.cod but MyAppName.cod!

Can someone tell me how to fully rename my App. What bit have I still to change?

Re: How to change the name of my App

in the application descriptor go to the build tab and check the module name.
also rename the eclipse project.

this should help, if it does not, create a new project and copy your stuff over (just as a last solution)

Re: How to change the name of my App

Mwhahahahaaa Success.

I never spotted the build tab along the bottom in very small text.

Changed the Output_file_name field.

Worked a charm.

(My Eclipse Project was already renamed :Balloon:)
