Have you tried using the unicode value of the caret symbol on Field.

Use Search. "Accept Solution" If the problem is resolved.

Re: How to keep caret visible when I am typing on TextField ?

I am also interested in this topic.

What I would like to implement is something similar to BB's native dialing screen (phonelog).

When you start entering a number, although the focus is on the phone log list, the filter field gets the text inputted from the user.

That part is doable, but I cannot get the caret to be drawn after the text.

I am wondering if that particular text field is a TextField at all since a green phone icon appears just beside the carret. I don't think we can draw in a text field, right?

So in short:

Is there a native way to do it (draw the 'vertical I looking' caret)  or we have to implement our own field.

Thanks for the interest
