How to make white board feature?

Hi Guys,

 

I have BB 9780 device, Actually have to draw some shapes in Device's Display. it needs to be almost top.

it must be visible in all the screen.

 

Simply its need to be behave as Whiteboard feature.

you can use the paint method of screen to draw stuff.

But actually this needs to be draw by background application.

the only option to interact with the homescreen is to set a background image (and modify your app icon etc), you cannot draw on it.

Not like that.  I saw this application, it is working fine. 

It is the client-server based application. if we send co-ordinates from server it is getting and drawing in Device Display screen. not only in HomeScreen its in all the screens like as Message, clock, browser...

you say an application like this already exists?

i don't know how to do it and would say it is not possible.

I have never tried this, but if your app has a transparent screen, and you push that screen over whatever else is running, then I guess you could create this sort of screen.  The trick is displaying a transparent MainScreen.  Something for you to test?

i will try this, But I don't think it will be work. B'cos if we select end key it  wont be visible. Please consider my previous attachment snapshot as reference.

An UiApplication always has a white backdrop. The MainScreen itself can be transparent, but its still white.

A global screen controlled by an Application could maybe work.
