How to open my app from the calendar ?

Hi,

I would like to open my application from my calendar in order to see details about an appointement.

is it possible ? Is there any sample code or  API to read ?

And how to go back to the calendar when I finish to read it ?

Thanks in advance,

Marc

Re: How to open my app from the calendar ?

Hi,

According to the following thread , it is not possible to catch the 'Open' event of an appointement from the calendar:

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/How-to-open-my-app-from-the-calendar/m-p/394...

But your suggestion sounds good and can help by adding an option to open my application for a specific 'appointement'.

I'll check if according to the API we can restrain this option to appear only on appointement from a specific calendar (and not for all calendars)

Thx

Re: How to open my app from the calendar ?

restraining these menu items is not possible unfortunately. prepare your app to receive other items (or null).
