Re: How to put muliple clickable icons on the MainScreen

Hi,

Multiple clickable icons means In the MainScreen i have multiple clickable  ButtonField.but i find it is better to

use BitmapField if you are using icon, but problem is that how to display textMessage at the bottom of the Bitmapfield that describe its task.......

e.g  BitmapField has a icon Symbol like Account  and i want to display the text create acconut at the bottom of this Icon.

Re: How to put multiple clickable icons on the MainScreen

I think Simon answered a different question.

There are in fact a number of different ways you can do this.

a) perhaps the most obvious is to have the 'Label' as part of the Image.

b) Use a Manager that contains a BitmapField and a LabelField and position them correctly.

c) Extend the BitmapField to support displaying some text below it.

I actually think (b) will give the best results.  Try just adding the BitmapField and the LabelField to a VerticalFieldManager, and add these to a HorizontalFieldManager to get them to line up next to each other.  Does that work?
