How to set Position of a child field in a delegate Manger

Yah... I am trying to implement a delegate manager for a screen . So in my sublayout() i first of all retrieved the index of the field I want to set the position and invoked setPositionchild(Field , x ,y)..

Buh My screen vanishes at run time..Is there something I am doing wrong?

yes, a screen vanishing sounds like something is wrong.
do you get any debug output? something in the log (alt+lglg on the home screen)?
