HttpRegisterFilter not working on real device

would anyone know why a httregisterfilter not work on a real device, but not in emulator? I have a httpfilter based on the httpfilter demo, that is working well in simulator but not on the real device.

The device (8310 curve, firmware 4.2.xx) doesn't seem to be an IT policy restricted blackberry, is there a way to check that. The documentation says it might throw controlled access exception, http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.6.0api/index.html, but I don't think that is the case.

Re: HttpRegisterFilter not working on real device

Verify that the application has permissions to create an HTTPFilter.  To do so go to Options, Advanced Options, Applications, select your application and choose Edit Permissions from the menu.

Do you receive an error or exception when you try to run your application?
