I want to use the default Activity indicator in OS 6 in my application.
After clicking on any button on the screen, want to show Indicator on the same screen and it should also pop when process completes.
Please post me some snippet to show the Activity indicator.

Look for the many Threads on this forum that discuss loading screens, or 'please wait' screens, or progress indicators. I suspect one of these will help you.

I have searched for many threads in forum. Also got the code from BlackBerry Guide.
But the problem is, I want to show the indicator on the same screen and I am not getting that how to show on the same screen, so I want the code to implement it.
Guys, Please send me the code, who have already used the default Activity Loader.

You want that in same screen means one suggetion is take the full screen and apply transperent background and next one is update the layout.it means add one empty manager to the screen when ever u want the indicator just add that indicator to that manager and update layout vise versa....

I have just noted this:
"I want to use the default Activity indicator in OS 6 in my application"
There is no default activity indicator. The hourglass that you will sometimes see is displayed by the garbage collector, and is not an indication of activity in general.
If you would like sample code for the suggestions made, can you please
1) give us a screen shot showing the screen with and without activity indicator so that we know what you are trying to achieve.
2) tell us if you want to block the user while this activity takes place, or are you just trying to show some activity, like the network activity indicators that appear in the top right of the screen.

Sorry got a bit mixed up, the responses above are for a different question.
Actually there was always a way of displaying this sort of anmiation, using this code:
This Field is just a packaging of something similar.
So it appears you just need to add this to your screen and make sure you have a suitable Bitmap to define it.
So the trick is to add this to your screen, which you can do with the standard
And then delete it when you are finshed with it.
I do not use the MVC approach that the sample uses so i can't help with that sorry.
Hope this helps and sorry for thinking something different....
