Can anybody help me in importing .VCF files stored in a folder in SDCard to BlackBerry contacts.
It would be kind if anybody can give me a detailed solution as i am completely new to this.
Thanks and Regards

See the PIM class in the javadocs.
There is a method PIM.fromSerialFormat() that imports the vcard data into the contact object.

Finally, I have successfully move the VCF to my contact in BB.
Here I share my method :
1. backup your old phonecontact so you will get .VCF file (addreess book), copy it to your desktop
2. convert the VCF file to IPD (blackberry contact file) with the ABC (amber converter)
3. run the BB desktop manager
4. restore the BB with file IPD that you have made
5. choose only the address book
Hopefully, it can help

2. convert the VCF file to IPD (blackberry contact file) with the ABC (amber converter)
Show meversion ABC amber who can convert .vcf file to .ipd!
I have download ABC amber and this program dont have this option...
Ok, sorry very much! My stupid!!!! It is possible
With ABC Amber vCard converter.
You must open vcf and click blackberry icon logo to export to ipd file. This is great! ![]()
