Invoking an application when an SMS comes in

Hi all,

I have an application which will send and recieve an SMS, now whenever an SMS comes in, the application should popup and become active and show the message.

Please let me know how we can do it.

Thanks in advance

Re: Invoking an application when an SMS comes in

Read the API docs for MessageConnection and MessageListener.

There is also an article in the Knowledge Base that deals with the subject.

Re: Invoking an application when an SMS comes in

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I am already using the same code, my application is able to catch the incoming SMS however it does not get active, once we open the application then it is showing the SMS.

What I want to do is when ever an SMS arrives the application should takeover the phone screen as if the application is launched and active(running).

requestForeground puts the app into the foreground.
