Invoking third Party application from Google Maps application

Hello Everybody,

I am working on a BB application through which we invoke Google Maps application (through KML). We have sucessfully managed to invoke Google Maps, but now I want to go back to my application using a URL in the description of Marker on the map.

The one approach I tried is that I wrote an HTTPFilter to intercept the Marker URL(which is a dummy url, just to create an event to move out of Maps), and in the filter invoked my application using

ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager()launch("myapplication")

 This launches my application, but if the user press 'Back' button, user gets to see the browser which has been intercepted.

Any suggestions on how this issue could be tackled.

I see injecting keycode not an option because we can not ask all the application user to change the permission settings for their device.

Thanks in adavance!

Hi Kaushal,

I'm having the same issue... were you able to find a solution yet?

Thanks,
