Is t here anyway to get the current screen timeout length?

I know in 5.0 there was no way of getting the user's default timeout length, but is this available in 6.0? I'm looking around for it and can't see to find anything.

They have getTimeoutDefault() but that always returns 30 seconds or something like that. It doesn't actually return what the user has it set to. I have an app where I would like to change the backlight timer to something like 10 seconds and then when they close the app I would like to revet the backlight timer to their set timer. Is this possible?

you can check the changelogs of os6, but i did not see any such method. maybe you can make it configurable in your application?
