I installed BB JDE 4.3.0 on my Vista and the device simulated is 8130.
I had a simple HellowTest project successfully built, resulting .cod, .cso, .jad, .jar., .rapc and .alx files. I have not signed the application yet, since I am thinking I only need to sign when I download it to and run on an actual device, right? I clicked "Go". The simulator was launched, but only showing "Debugger attached" on the LCD screen area and a separate read-only file C:\NoSuchFile.java contiuously saying "source code is not available".
I then tried to start the simulator directly from C:\Program Files\Reasearch In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.3.0\Device Simulator, but only getting an error message "JVM Error 104 Uncaught: MissingResourceException".
I checked the simulator user guide, but didn't get any clue to deal with my problem. Is this a Vista issue? Any help and suggestion will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance!
