Java System Screen

Is there a way to avoid system screen prompt from OS, such as

"allow send/receive SMS...." ,

"Push SMS received allow launch app...."

 

I use .jar/.jad file downloaded OTA.Is there a way to give special permissionon descripter file for BlackBerry ?

.cod file will slove the problem  ?

Signed aplets will solve the problem ?

You can request permissions that you need on startup (4.2.1 and higher), but you cannot force the permissions.

 

See the API docs for ApplicationPermissions and ApplicationPermissionsManager.

Actually i dont use any RIM specific API as my app suppose to run on any J2ME platform.
anyway i found the solution for this. Signing the .cod with BB keys.
 
So basically 1st need to convert my .jad/.jad combination to .jad/.cod then sign the .cod with BB keys. You need to register with BB to get the key materials, which cost me USD 20 (reasonable i guess)
 
Now I dont get any system screen pop ups, all good so far. Have test on some other BB handsets to see same result so far only tested with 8120.
 
let me know anyone need further help on this side, its bit pain understanding whole procedure but once done its pretty simple.
