BlackBerry invites you to join us for the BlackBerry 10 Jam World Tour – a series of full-day events dedicated to providing the developer community with insights on the BlackBerry 10 platform; its strengths, the vision, and how developers can make apps that stand out to app-hungry BlackBerry users.

Come Jam with us so you can:

• Be one of the first to develop for the BlackBerry® 10 platform.
• Discover the power of BlackBerry 10. Learn about the unique capabilities of BlackBerry 10 to set your application apart.
• Collaborate with your community. Learn, share and network with your fellow developers. Make valuable connections that will make you even more successful with BlackBerry.
• Get one-on-one expert guidance. Jam with BlackBerry platform experts and build a better app.
• A limited number of BlackBerry® 10 Dev Alpha devices will be available to qualified developers* at each city in the World Tour. During the event registration process, apply to receive a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device, available only to developers attending BlackBerry 10 Jam!

Attendees will gain insight on building applications for the launch of the new BlackBerry 10 platform later this year. Beginner and master mobile application developers will be able to attend in-depth breakout sessions focused on HTML5 + BlackBerry® WebWorks™ and Native C/C++ development for the BlackBerry platform. Developers will be able to interact with development experts who can provide guidance, tips and tricks, and other information to help developers get started building apps for BlackBerry 10.

Sounds great thanks for keeping us up to date! Checked the website but am still unsure, on what criteria will they base the qualification for a alpha device? Thanks again!

I do know I won't get one since I got one in Florida. 

Mark, if at all possible, I think we would all like some more information on the location, agenda and timing.  Any idea when this detail will be available so that we can start booking?

For me, I need to make travel arrangements and so would like to know if I need to overnight in London for example.

As for topics, most (if not all) of the content will be topics that were covered at BlackBerry 10 Jam in Orlando.  It's geared towards people who weren't able to attend that.

Peter, not saying you can't go but just giving a warning that you likely won't see anything new beyond what you saw at BlackBerry 10 Jam.

i won't get another device, but can maybe take some other sessions.

Mark, is there any notification system to be alerted when "our" jam event (Berlin) opens for registration? Maybe on twitter?

Ok, i have registered for Berlin, even without getting a device it will be interesting to listen into some other sessions (webworks instead of native), and my colleagues all did not want to go (vacation, or because of the possible German soccer game in the evening...).

If anybody from here attends the Berlin event, feel free to reach out to me so we can meet.
