first i created 1 project in that i created lib folder and i added ksoap2 jar file to it and next i created other project in which it contain webservice, in this project i added 1st project as reference and i added ksoap2 jar file. when iam running this on simulator am getting an error  module ksoap2-j2me-core-prev-2.1.2 not found jar

Hi Prashanthi,

Can you tell me your eclipse version.
We can't add jar files in eclipse 5.0 OS, The process you described above will work only on JDE.

And the solution is download Eclipse 6.0(Helios) OS and install.
In this you can add jar files directly. you can change JRE here if you want 5.0 based app.

So you are using eclipse Helios, in this you can directly add the jar files. no need to create another project to add jar files as a reference.

And you can add the jar file right click on project->properties->javabuildpath->libraries-> add externaljars

thank u,  i downloaded ksoap2-j2me-core-prev-2.1.2.jar and i added this to my project even though i am getting the the same error in simulator i.e; module ksoap2-j2me-core-prev-2.1.2.jar not found. plz help me.

Is it jar not found error or multiply defined error, which JRE you are using.
