Licensing for RIM tools

Can I re-distribute RIM tools (such as rapc) with my software?

What are the license terms for the JDE and its tools?

Re: Licensing for RIM tools

Thanks but what I am asking for is a licesne for redistributing the RIM tools themselves rather than applications.

For instance, am I allowed to bundle rapc.jar inside a piece of server software that I give to my customer? What is the license for the RIM tool? Is it LGPL or is there a custom RIM license?

Please use plain text.

Re: Licensing for RIM tools

The BlackBerry SDKs including the JDE, simulators, and tools are licensed under the BlackBerry SDK License Agreement (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/legal/sdkla.jsp).  You can see a list of the licensed tools as part of Schedule 1.  If you have any questions or concers about the terms of the agreement, please contact RIM at legalinfo@rim.com.
