I have tried to run the Localization sample (from Blackberry), but Im not
able to get the localized versions. Im not able to change the Language
settings in Simulator. There is no Options->Language in the 8300, 8100 etc
simulators I have downloaded.I also changed the 8300.xml file to include the
language as instructed - no difference.
Please let me know whatIm doing wrong.
Thank You,
Jo

As far as I know - simulators do not support multi-language capabilities.
The only way I see - check your app on a real device with multilanguage device OS installed.

I appreciate the response, but I have seen forums where they give
instructions to do this - except - I cant get them to work on the latest simulators.

I knew about this article in Knowledge Base.
But I also can't add multilanguage capabilities to the modern simulators.

Just checked it on JDE 4.6.1 (as stated in KB article) simulator (8900) and it worked (see attached picture below 8900.png).

The languages available can vary based on the version of BlackBerry handheld software. Each version does not include every supported language.

Hi,
Can somebody tell me the difference between the languages English, English (United Kingdom) and English (United States)?
