I have studied the sample and the A12 pdf as well as various messages on this board. I will say as the student said after the professor made the third explanation of a complex issue.

I have the rrh and rrc files in place. I placed them in a resorce folder  "res" and used the same package structure (one level) as for my src folder. The Application Descriptor found it in the "local resources"  box

There is a folder  ".locale_interfaces" in the project and it has a folder with the same name as the packet. in src and res.

That folder is empty. If I understand it correcly it should contain an interface.

How does an interface get there????

Where does it get its name from??

Wow!

For a completely different reason I made a "Clean all"  and the interface magically appeared in the folder!!

the interface is created by the plugin, usually the folder is hidden (that's why it is prefaced with a dot).
Back in the JDE days you had to create the interface yourself if you wanted to use eclipse...
