Localizing Blackberry App Name

Hi Everyone,

I've currently created an app that supports localization.  The only issue I've come across is, I don't know how to localize the name of the app, so that the localized name is displayed on the blackberry.  I'm using the 4.5 api.

Re: Localizing Blackberry App Name

in the jde it is project properties / resources. In the eJDE it will be something comparable

Re: Localizing Blackberry App Name

In the current 1.1 Eclipse plugin go to the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.  In the application tab click the "Internationalized resource bundle available" checkbox and choose a field for your title and one for your description.  You can also change the title of any alternate entry points you have under the alternate entry tab.

I don't know how to do this in the older version of the plugin or in the JDE.

Re: Localizing Blackberry App Name

Thanks for the quick responses.

Based on what you guys have told me, I think I figured it out. (For Eclipse at least)

Right click the Project -> Properties -> Blackberry Project Properties

Click the Resources Tab

Check the Title Resource Available box

Select the resource bundle and the id of the title key from that resource bundle.

Thanks for all the Help!
