MDS too busy

Hi,

Does anybody can explain me this exception please?

net.rim.device.cldc.io.ippp.SocketBaseIOException: java.io.IOException: MDS Too Busy : Executor queue limit reached

I have this exception on OS5 and I think it is due to the fact that my application attempts to send too much http request.

Is it possible to manage MDS ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: MDS too busy

The MDS Connection Service has a maximum number of simultaneous connections.  These are used by applications making HTTP or socket connections through it, browsing and push connections.  It looks like this limit has been reached here.

An application running on a single BlackBerry Smartphone should not trigger this, but if the application is used by hundreds or thousands of users it would be possible.

Re: MDS too busy

I am having the same issue: I'm trying to reinstall Whatsapp, but once it's installed and ready to run, after typing in my cellphone number, it gives me the same message " net.rim.device.cldc.io.ippp.SocketBaseIOException: java.io.IOException: MDS Too Busy : Executor queue limit reached "

how do i fix the problem ?

Re: MDS too busy

You'll need to contact your BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator to help resolve this.  They can either deploy additional MDS-CS servers or increase the connection limit on existing servers.
