Hi All, i have added custom menu items in blackberry memopad app. i have added menu items in view and edit screens with the help of

1: ApplicationMenuItemRepository.MENUITEM_MEMO_VIEW

2: ApplicationMenuItemRepository.MENUITEM_MEMO_LIST

on simultor, both menu item is visible in memopad app and working fine. but when i run app on real device, i am only able to see custom menu item in memo list screen. because when i click on memo, memo directly opens up in edit screen. But in case of simulator, memo first open in view screen.

Device deatils blackberry : 8820

OS version : 4.2.2.116

Memopad version : 4.2.2

So, my question

1: is this due to some device confiquration?

2: this is memo app version issue??

Are you using the same version of BlackBerry handheld software in the BlackBerry Simulator and BlackBerry handheld?

Version 4.2.2 changed the behaviour so that memo's opened in edit mode, instead of view mode.

Memopad version on simulator is 4.2.

On more question 

that means on memopad version >4.2, the memo view screen is not provided by blackberry. is this correct??

Correct, except that the BlackBerry handheld software version is 4.2.2 and higher, not 4.2.0.
