[NEW] Dedicated Java Development website

Hi Everyone,

We just released this morning the first revision of a new dedicated Java development website.  This is the first phase of consolidating all of the Java development information into one easy to navigate location. We'll be continuing to migrate more of the documentation and provide better integration of the API docs.

It's a first step in providing a better online experience that we'll continue to iterate on.  If you have feedback on the new site or have other feedback on information that's important to you it will help us prioritize the work as we continue to add improvements to the site..

Re: [NEW] Dedicated Java Development website

Looked at this site briefly during DevCon and thought it was good, and it seems to be even better now.

There are loads of good things in there like this page that explains the difference between getContentWidth and getWidth, something that has confused me!

https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/java/documentation/ww_java_uinavigation/Fields_1969898_11.html

I will be looking again so expect some feedback.  But  I wonder if there is value in having a feedback/information request type facility on the site, so if people come looking for some information and can't find it, or know of something that could be added, they can provide feedback directly on the site?  Just a thought.

Hi Peter,

That's where we're heading with the documentation.. making it more collaborative.  Currently we only have the "Give feedback" in the top right corner that allows you to log a JIRA ticket.
