Network connection arrow icon

Hello,

There is an bi-directional arrow on the top of my phone screen (Storm II).

When app makes the connection, the arrow has 2 end (2 arrows at 2 side) but sometimes there is only 1 arrow at the top.

My quoestion is: What does the arrow means when there are 2 sides and when there is only 1 side of the arrow?

Thank you

Re: Network connection arrow icon

the arrow indicates network traffic on a low level. that means not only, but including, data traffic.

you cannot influence these arrows, they are part of RIMs internal implementation

Re: Network connection arrow icon

The arrow has 2 part: up and down (the arrow is bi-directional)

I would like to know the meaning of each part of the arrow because sometime only the upper part of the arrow is displayed, sometimes only the lower part and most of the case both of them are displayed.

upper arrow: your phone is sending

lower arrow: your phone is receiving

both: your phone is sending and receiving
