New application installation affects the old applications working

Dear all,

I have made an application which on installing on a phone affects the performance of another application. The first installed application is used to make calls and it stops working. Have anyone faced similar problem

Re: New application installation affects the old applications working

Unfortunately, this question is too general to be answered.  How about giving us details of the applications involved, what they do, who wrote them etc, and then debug the failing application to determine whereabouts in the code it actually fails.  Any log mesages?  Any Dialog error messages?  How do you know it is failing?  How do you know it is your second applicatin causing the problem?

You could also try removing and re-installing the failed application to determine if the problem changes as a result of doing this.

The most likely explanations are:

a) You have used some thing shared in your second application

b) You have inserted some sort of listener or system process in your second application that conflicts with your first one.
