When the browser is getting opened through app I want to restrict user from not allowing him to save it as Bookmark and the URl should not be saved in History.
Suggest a solution to perform this thru my app.
Please help me in this matter.

This is not supported. There is no API in the BlackBerry API set that would allow you to accomplish this.
A work around could be to display the web content within a browser field within your application instead of opening the browser.

Hi M Sohm
Thanks for your suggestion. Can I get some sample code for the same?
I have another issue ..
If I check the URL Through my application then there should not be any History related to same & cookies hould not be generated. Will this be possible using Browser Field?
Can you please guide me with the same as well?
Thanks in advance.

The browserfielddemo included with the BlackBerry JDE and BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse shows an example of this. This sample makes use of the first browser field.
When using a browser field cookies are handled by your application.
How To – Enable cookies in BrowserField
Version 5.0 of BlackBerry device software added the BrowserField2 field, which supports the new browser rendering options present in the version 4.6.0+ BlackBerry Browser (AJAX support, etc...). We do not yet have a sample of this field, but do expect one soon.

I am working on one demo application for using Browser Field in that.
The Same is working on fine on simulator. But it is not working on the device.
The device I am using is 8900 Curve.
The problem is coming when I am trying to make HTTPConnection.
So please let me know any issue with the same or if any solution/ work around for the same.
Thanks in advance.

Can you elaborate on what is not working? Is any error or exception thrown? If so, what is it and what line of code is triggering it?
