Push Service in blackberry?

I have registered with push service have app_id, portnumber, url like data but what to do next?

good link to learn, i used this url : http://cpXXX.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com and able to registered. but now i want to

 

add push service to some third party http url how to do that?

maybe you have a misconception about the mechanics?
for bis push you get a push server address from blackberry, similar to the one above but without "eval".

your own server app would send push requests to their bis push server, which in turn transmits it to the devices.

so using your code i am able to registered with push service, now what else i do now to check send and receive response from my url?

Thats true i have a little knowledge only about push service, want to know more search lots of documents but still not clear about use of push service

registering means that the BB device is now registered with the BB push server.
To actually receive a push somebody must send it to the push server with this specific device pin, the server will then deliver it to the client.

you should be able to do that with the eval url (for a limited time).
BB offers a server-side sample app as well afaik (which basically sends a PAP request to the push server).

I have mainly worked with BES push, which is a lot easier to test, and used BIS push only on the client side, so i cannot assist you with writing the server part.

Now if i have to communicate with that url i have to send request or message to url with pin number, that you mean to say?

and one more thing In your code there is a token, what is the use of that token? and why we need that?
