Recording Audio...Playback..and a Special question :)

Hello community

I am the personification of NEWB. So go easy on me please.

I know that there are other discussions about this, however the resources aren't helping me much; maybe I'm slow.

I would like to know(These questions have priority over the last one)

  • How do I record Sound and perhaps save it to a file for later retrieval
  • How do I playback the sound later on.

  • Special question: Is there a way to graphically display the sound recorded on the screen(what I mean is the visual frequencies s you'd see in an equalizer)

Hi,

Sorry to waste your time, I don't know how you would use code.

Thanks,

Hi coilfyzx!

You can search the forums by using the search box at the top-left while in the Java Development board.  If you search for 'record sound' the first link leads you to this knowledge base article which has the information you wish to know.

Cheers!

P.S. Regarding the special question, the answer is yes but you have to implement your own solution :Ninja:
