Refresh GUI

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I am trying to refresh GUI everytime when I fetch record from Persistent store. After login to my application list of data will be populated from persistent store.

For this I have implemented a seperate thread for gui only.

With every record fetched from store, I want to refresh screen to display newly fetched record ... How do I do it? Is there any refreah mechanism for screen?

Please help.

Re: Refresh GUI

After fetching record from Persistant store try with calling  invalidate();  this should repaint the screen.

Re: Refresh GUI

I tried invalidate on listfield that i am populating. It didnt work...

As I have a seperate thread for gui, the blank screen is displayed first and then the data is fetched after delay of few miliseconds, but actually this should not be the case.Screen should display atleast few records first from store, and keep on populating rest of them one fter other, refreshing the screen, and scroll down.

What can be done for this?
