Regarding VirtualKeyboard setVisibility

Hi,

I would like to hide the softkeyboard for a couple of screens in my application. Following is the code i've added to achieve this:

    protected void onFocus(final int direction)
    {
        getVirtualKeyboard().setVisibility(
                    VirtualKeyboard.HIDE_FORCE);
        super.onFocus(direction);
    }

However, i'm still able to see the "show Keypad" option in the menu pane and it still pops up the keypad on the given screen. Any help is highly appreciated.

thanks,

Pooja

Re: Regarding VirtualKeyboard setVisibility

try to include that code in the constructor of the mainscreen that you are pushing.
