Regarding uploading and downloading .cod files from Dropbox

I used drop box to upload my blackberry application

I uploaded the build (ie several .cod files and .jad files )

Now, if i like to download the application from jad path

It gives a Http Error 403 and Invalid cod why so ??

I'm guessing here that the reason is the 'web site' does not know about the MIME types needed for jad and cod files to be downloaded correctly.

If you are attempting to download from a Web Site, then you need to ask the owner of the web site to implement this for you. 

 

Alternatively use one of the other deployment methods specified in the link you have been given above. 

 

One option that the tutorial does not directly cover is installation from the SD Card.  If you put the jad and cod files on the SD Card, then use the FIle Application to locate these, clicking on the jad will install the application.  Perhaps you can use DropBox to move the installation jad and cod to your SD Card and do it from there.
