SD Card and split-pipe

Hi guys,

I'm developing an app to download files to your BB's SDCard.

But when it tries to start the download, the famous split-pipe message appears.

What am I doing wrong?

What is the best way (source code) to download files? I mean, directory, methods, etc...

Thanks a lot!

Re: SD Card and split-pipe

I thought this problem had gone away.

The issue, as I understand it, is the connection method used to connect to the internet.  If you use BES, then you can get this sort of problem.  But I have not encountered this since pre OS 4.5.  So what OS are you running on?

It's 5.0 Peter.
Could be the IT Policy? I'm trying to run whatsapp, but I have the same problem.

Can be resolved with IT Policy for sure.
