Yes, I had read the discussion you mentioned, the article I referred to is the same article referenced in the discussion. From that discussion and others it seems that in order to by-pass the Inbox, we either have to set a port number or define the SMS message as type: system message.
I've tried setting the port number with mixed results because of potentially carrier differences. I wish to try using the system message type and was wondering if it's possible to set using UDH.
