SQLite Problem

hi All,

 

I have got one SQLite Database like demo.SQLITE format... i want access the data from that database via application. How can i achieve this?

 

The above sqlite database is easily accessible by SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1.exe.

But i have existing database in SQLITE format i.e. demo.sqlite which is encrypted.

How can i access the sqlite data.

An encrypted db is linked to the device that created it. Are you trying to copy the database from a PC onto an SD card and then read it on the BB? I think you can only do that by decrypting it first.

hi,

 

yes i was copying the sqlite dabase onto the SDCard.

But how can i decryot it?

I can only convert the table of that database into CSV format i.e Comma seperated Value format.

Well, if the original app doesn't provide a way to make an unencrypted copy, it can't be decrypted.

 

Exporting the data in CSV format can work. You'll have to write a utility to populate a new data base (either encrypted or not) on the new device.
