Sample BrowserFieldDemo question

Hi,

I am using JDE 4.5.0 with the BlackBerry 8300 simulator.

The sample code for the BrowserFieldDemo shows two methods:

getAvailableHeight() and getAvailableWidth()

which should tell the RenderingSession where it can render.

I put breakpoints in these methods and they don't seem to be called at all.

Is there some flag that needs to be set on initialization that will tell the framework to use these methods?

Thanks

Adam

Re: Sample BrowserFieldDemo question

These are helper methods that can be called by the rendering engine to assist in the layout of the page.  They are not used to control the size of a browser field.  You can control the size of the field by customizing the manager that holds the field by overriding its sublayout method.
