Security Timer Reset permission

Is there anyway to programmatically edit the permission of Security Timer Reset for a specific application?  I’m using the 4.3 JDE.

Thanks,

Re: Security Timer Reset permission

You can invoke permission confirmation dialog for certain permissions.

Check the following classes:

net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissions
net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissionsManager

Re: Security Timer Reset permission

Thank for the info, but the ApplicationPermissions class does include the Security Timer Reset permission.

Re: Security Timer Reset permission

Please note that you cannot set/unset a permission programmatically.

It is a security measure.

Only possible way is to compose a special confirmation dialog for user with classes I named before and display this dialog.

In case user accepts this confirmation dialog - all relevant permissions will be set.

Is the permission you're looking for.
